Creative director, brand consultant, designer, stylist, luxury accessories buyer and clubland entrepreneur, Liz Mendez, has been at the forefront of the global fashion, music and party scene for two decades.
Her innovative and constantly evolving statement look of fantastical glam-meets-futuristic cool is the foundation for all her work, whether creating dancefloor moments (she co-founded two of London's most influential noughties' parties - Kubicle and Show Pony) or collaborating with publications such as Elle, Tatler, Sunday Times Style, Vogue Italia, Teen Vogue, Vogue Russia, Wonderland, Tank, Schon, Another Magazine, Hunger, Dazed & Confused, Evening Standard, Grazia, Ibiza Style and Blue Marlin Magazine Ibiza... alongside visual ventures for Nick Knight SHOWstudio and Rankin.
Liz has particularly loved styling head-to-toe looks for stellar female performers such as Kelis, All Saints, Jaime Winstone and Ella Eyre, as well as adding the final layer of pizzazz to glossy photo shoots with her impeccably sourced, privately owned collection of vintage designer jewellery, garments and accessories; Liz Mendez Vintage (LMV). Amongst the talent to have been sprinkled with the LMV stardust are Beyoncé, Rita Ora, Lily Allen, Cara Delevigne, Miley Cyrus, Nelly Furtado, Paloma Faith, Olivia Palermo, Paris Hilton and Jessie J.
Moving to Ibiza in 2017, Liz became an all-encompassing "glam machine" for magazine shoots, pop videos, digital promos and global influencers shooting on the island; providing complete aesthetic, location, style and directorial requirements. She has also worked on campaigns and costume design with club super brands (Cocoon, Amnesia, Paradise and Heart) and styled for White Isle inspired designers including Temperley, Julia Clancey, De La Vali and Dancing Leopard. She is currently the fashion "go-to" for the prominent five star hotel Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay. Where she runs fashion events, designer pop ups and has her line stocked in store. Her LMV line is also stocked in the famed Dalt Villa boutique; Annie's Ibiza.
More recently, Liz has adored launching Ibiza Stylist's Studio, a more direct-to-the-consumer approach, where the island's party glitterati and visiting vixens can come to her Ibiza Town showroom to enjoy a complete styling experience for a one off event, an entire wardrobe revamp, a magical rummage through her elite Aladdin's cave of exclusive vintage pieces to either buy or hire... or simply join her on a personal shopping tour of the suavest local emporiums.
